We are pretty excited for Christmas! Enjoy our Twelve Days of Christmas video:
We are reading another Roald Dahl book, The Twits. Students are also working individually on spelling. In reading, we are working on comprehension activities with a focus on identifying the main idea of text, and some supporting details.
Math: We are finishing up a unit of measurement. Students have learned about measuring in cm, m, and km, and have worked on converting between each.
Science: We have learned the parts of the ear. Ask me about the three little bones of the inner ear!
Social Studies: Students are learning about Tunisia, and have compared living in the major city, Tunis, with living in Calgary. We have also begun learning about camels!
Gym: We are playing floor hockey and learning correct stick handling skills.
Health: We are working on healthy relationships. Ask me about "A Little Spot".
