This week in our learning:

Language Arts: We continue to work on skills in reading and writing. Ask your child about their assignments in writing.

Social Studies: We are looking at maps and the importance of community helpers in our neighborhoods. 

Math: We are working towards becoming counting pros! Help me practice by counting out loud at home.

Science: We are continuing to look closely at bugs using our pooters! We have found bugs in the playground, but have noticed that it is getting more difficult to find bugs because of the changing seasons. We have also been researching ladybugs and learning about what they eat, where they live, what they look like and other interesting facts. Check out our ladybug art below! 

Our Orange Shirt day walk was a success! We walked the community to remember Phyllis' story and the long lasting effect of Canadian residential schools.
