What a week! We had an amazing week with our chicks, who will return to their farm on Saturday. We'll miss you, Chicken Nuggers! 

A reminder that we have a field trip to the zoo on Monday! The current weather forecast calls for light rain, so please make sure you check the weather Monday morning, and dress for the weather that day.

Wetland Wigglers

Todays field trip was to Ralph Klein park to learn from the land. Students learned characteristics of insects, arachnids and crustaceans, created their own big with unique adaptations, took a tour to view larger animals and the birds in the wetlands, and conducted a pond study. Even through the cold and snow we had a great day of learning!

 

Nat Geo Live: The Secret Life of Bears

 Our field trip to Arts Commons to see Nat Geo Live: The Secret Life of Bears was amazing! We listened to scientist Rae Wynn-Grant and discovered facts about the eight different bears around the world. We’ll learn more throughout the week.
